difficult people, hard people, mother in law, father in law, sister in law, brother in law, why are people so mean, why are people so annoying, why are people so sensitive, why are people so rude

WE MOVED INTO A FIFTH WHEEL

One thing’s for sure.

This was NOT my first choice.

Some people dream about selling all their earthly possessions and hittin’ the road.

Some people think it’s fun to cram their entire kitchen into four feet of apartment grade cabinets.

Some people have Netflix approach them for a million dollar collaboration.

Not us.

The reality is we sold our house and moved into a rental that the landlord sold six months into our lease.

The reality is that housing prices in Arizona have never been higher.

The reality is my husband is in the middle of building his business here.

The reality is I have a boy in high school who I will not be home schooling this year, or any year.

So here I am, living in a 43 foot, bona fide house on wheels.

I miss my bathtub and my double ovens.

I miss my grand piano and my walk in closet.

I miss my kitchen island and my washing machine.

Then sometimes I get quiet and decide to tell the truth about my reality.

No one tied me up and forced me to live here.

No one stole the money out of my savings account.

No one made me sell my house and find another place to live.

I had other options.

Many other options.

And I chose this one.

So right now in this moment, I’m choosing to decide living in a fifth wheel is the very best place for me.

It’s a place where I’m learning how to let go of things that don’t matter.

It’s a place where my family can relax and recharge from the hard things we’ve been through.

It’s a place where I can ride horses, watch chickens run, and plant a garden.

You know what else I’m choosing to think?

People underestimate me.

They don’t know that somewhere down in me, I’m a freaking warrior.

I’m a pioneer.

One tough mutha.

And when I think that, I feel like there’s NOTHING I can’t handle.

Do you ever feel like you’re stuck in a situation you have no control over?

Maybe you’re in a less than ideal marriage, maybe you’re raising a hard teenager, maybe you live too close to your in-laws.

How does it make you feel when you think you have no other options?

The truth is, you have lots of options.

So many options.

More options than you can imagine.

Are you curious? Are you ready to take a deep dive into the options you have in your marriage, with your teen, your in-laws?

Wanna do it together?
