Last fall my cousin was planning her wedding and I was thrilled to participate in a small way. One afternoon we sat together talking about the excitement of wedding preparations and I asked her about future plans for the honeymoon.
She told me her father-in-law to be had earned a Mexican cruise for achieving some goals in his company, and he was generously gifting the trip to the newlyweds.
Awesome, right?
Two weeks later her in-laws announced the trip was actually for four and they would be joining the couple on the cruise. Not to worry though, it was a very large ship and the in-laws had no expectations of seeing or hearing from the newlyweds.
OK….I guess?
Then came the third announcement. The company had opened up the cruise to entire families, at a discounted rate, and his five siblings would be joining in on the celebration!
Can you imagine?
At this point I couldn’t help myself and I blurted out, “WHAT are you going to do?”
These are the sneaky little things that pop up when you marry into someone else’s family.
They happen all the time, and they’re things you’ve never been through.
Things you’ve never even thought about.
Do you know how to handle them?
If you’re anything like most people, probably not.
Enter a life coach.
A good life coach will never tell you what to do. She’ll never pretend she knows the answers, and she’ll never judge the decisions you make.
She will carefully and thoughtfully navigate you to a place where you know exactly what to do, and have your own back while you’re doing it.
Doesn’t that sound awesome?
What if you had a ninja in your back pocket?
What if you had someone who could help you with all the unforeseen challenges that will inevitably come up throughout your life.
The big ones, the small ones, and everything in between.
I’m the in-law ninja, and I’ve got you.
